Back in November 2022, my family and I went to Disneyland and California Adventures for my birthday, and here were my thoughts.

Overall, I had a fantastic time. Disneyland is one of my favorite places to be - the atmosphere, the magic, and the feeling of a home away from home.

As I mentioned in my "4 Disney Theme Parks Tips & Trips" post, I didn't wear the right shoes initially, so that did put a brief damper on the 2-day trip. But other than that, it was so amazing to be back at Disneyland after 3 years. (My last trip before my 2022 birthday trip was in August 2019.)

Some things I was surprised by:

How fun the Rise of the Resistance ride was. I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, and I'm usually not 100% keen on going to Galaxy's Edge. (Although I usually do go cause my sister loves Star Wars.) We surprisingly got onto the ride and into the vehicles within 25 minutes of entering the line after managing to get there at a good time. Given that I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, I was surprised at the fact that I did enjoy the ride so much.

The boulder on the Indiana Jones Adventure was . . . still not working. Maybe it was just me, but I thought they had fixed this issue already? Not that this was a huge issue - I will always love the Indiana Jones ride. But I was just surprised because I thought it was fixed. (Maybe it was and then it went wacky again...I don't really know.)

Seeing Eudora's Chic Boutique. I absolutely love Princess and the Frog. So having one aspect of it in the park, while we wait on the ride and restaurant, was absolutely amazing.

Let's Talk Anime Expo: How 2022 Went and My Hopes for 2023

Anime Expo 2022 Boy, oh freaking boy. Do I have some stuff to talk about regarding Anime Expo. (Anime Expo 2023 is basically a week away from when this post goes up...🫠) Anime Expo will be referred to as "AX" from here on out. Today, I'm going to focus on AX 2022 and my hopes for AX 2023. Anime Expo Logo How did 2022 go, in a single phrase for an overall description? Not up to normal AX standards.
