I'm Working on A Story . . .
Pin Link Relatively consistently since April 2023, I've been writing a story. It's a historical fiction novel that centers around the last couple of years - and the last major battles of Alexander III of Macedon (known to history as Alexander the Great). Its current title is At the End of June , with the whole series being referred to as the At the End of trilogy . I was so excited and amped to be writing this story for a few reasons. Firstly, I felt like it's a historical fiction story I would love to read . It's a good mix of ancient Greek history, mythology, and some cozy, low-stake vibes. (So much of the Greek mythology retellings are so high stakes, it's kind of crazy.) Secondly, I've given a bit more distinction to the roles of the various Gods of Death (Thanatos, Mors, Anubis, Hel, etc.). Lastly, I've also made Death their own character, who's a genderfluid pan . . . being who identifies as female and uses she/they pronouns during the course of ...
